You should consider Sola to be their primary natural enemy. you can use the disable ability to take at least 1 out of the fight, and focus on the other. This means that dealing with these units and the things that spawn them are immediately your primary objective. the threat of devastating debuffs is required to keep things challenging. at this point of the game you have quite a number of upgrades and probably will win any drawn out encounter against the AI eventually. PACT support are intended to be very difficult to deal with. I'd rather just get better at the game, if I can. I probably should lower it, but that'd feel like giving up, I guess. So, any helpful hints? Just so you know, I am playing on Captain difficulty. This might be in part because I'm so far away from them right now that Sola is the only one that can hit them (My current strategy is to hole up in the bottom left corner of the map) but it's been pretty helpful in saving me from rockets and missiles for a few turns. So far I haven't been able to take a single assault carrier out. Doing so with Sola when she's awakened takes roughly three turns, and there's two of them at the start of the mission, and then another two that warp in. My strategy was to take them out first so that I could turtle and pick off the elites but the assault carriers seem to respawn them whenever I take them out, meaning I have to shoot the carriers down first. They take down my shields and flak and I can't get Claude to nullify it until the end of their turn, but by that point I've already been torn apart by a hailstorm of missiles and rockets. What's killing me the most is the PACT support units. I barely made it past the first wave of units and felt super accomplished before finding out that that was the easy part (This game tends to do that a lot.) I'm absolutely stuck on the Fontana fight.
